Kylie’s career in recruitment started 8 years ago when she joined the Robert Walters team in Auckland working on the newly created Sales and Marketing contract desk. Prior to this, Kylie’s background was in sales, account management and administration – all very important skills in recruitment!
From Robert Walters, she was asked to be a part of the team to set up the newly created recruitment function at Air NZ in 2006. She led large teams across the country and travelled internationally to recruit and source. After five years with Air NZ, Kylie took up a new challenge at another large employer, ANZ Bank, where she recruited exclusively for the Executive Leadership team and led a team of resourcers across Auckland and Wellington.
Currently, Kylie is the Recruitment Manager for Fairfax Media NZ. This is a newly created role, in a newly created HR structure and spans the country. The role is ground up, and involves significant design and change to who, how and where Fairfax Media recruit.
