Talent Maestro – Tom Peters on talent

Tom Peters is arguably one of the world’s most influential thinkers. An early proponent of personal branding (Coined the word Brand You), Tom is big on getting ‘talent’ right, and it takes a central place in most of his trademark themes (business excellence, quality and leadership), books and presentations.

    I love that – “To Rename HR as the Talent Department” and then make those who work there Talent Agents maybe! It would be a far more fitting and exciting a title that would lead to more creativity and innovation and a focus on Talent (not so much on processing, administration and policing). It would serve to focus on defining, understanding, attracting and retaining the right talent for their clients.
